Those of you who read my early posts will know that I haven't always been too happy with the lack of support I had from the rhumy team. I was always sent away for 6 months at a time and had several flares and only managed to get to see someone by phoning rhumys secretary. I complained about this last time I went and due to change in meds, rheumy gave me 4 month appt instead of 6 and allocated me a specialist nurse. I saw her a month ago and started the hydroxy with MTX (and depo jab), then she asked me back yesterday to do bloods for the new meds. I also found out that I have been given appointments with a physio and and OT on 14 January (back to back appointents for convenience!) and will be seeing rheumy in February. Can't believe the turnaround in attitude but am certainly not complaining BigGrinThumpUp

well, that is pleasing to hear Julie

they are at last doing what they should do. I can recall the last time my gran complained they really hopped to it for a while which was a good thing!

Well done

That's great Julie, hope they keep up the good work.
I was on the verge of changing when my rheumy team suddenly upped their game so I stayed.
Now I think they're starting to get slack again.

That's really good news, but it's only what we should all get.

Thanks everyone - I agree with Lyn - it's only taken 3 and a half years and a quick mention of the NICE guidelines at last appointment!
